Ayn Rand Says...

If some men are entitled by right to the products of the work of others, it means that those others are deprived of rights and condemned to slave labor.

Any alleged "right" of one man, which necessitates the violation of the rights of another, is not and cannot be a right.

No man can have a right to impose an unchosen obligation, an unrewarded duty or an involuntary servitude on another man. There can be no such thing as "the right to enslave."

It occurs to me that ever since the Republican Party was formed for the purpose of opposing Slavery, and were successful in abolishing the practice, the Democrat Party has been obsessed with, and is on the verge of, reinstating it in one form or another.

A human being who does not own his or her own labor is a slave.

Ayn Rand is a champion among "libertarians". One has to wonder why "libertarians" are so entrenched in the idea that abortion is a woman's right considering your quote from her, Cap'n.

Libertarians (as opposed to "libertarians") CANNOT hold to a notion that gives one human-being the right to extinguish the life of another without betraying libertarianism itself.
