The trial is over and soon the sentence will be handed down.
One news article that has largely been lost in the ad-nauseum news coverage of the "Perfect Storm", (The one that it was hoped would blow the President away...) was the Senate Judiciary Committee Hearings regarding the fate of the desperate and heinous criminal, John Roberts.
He was accused of being a Conservative, of not talking about his skills as a husband and father, of withholding documents which could be spun so that they might seem incriminating, of believing in the U.S. Constitution as written, of being unwilling to use a position on the Supreme Court to right social wrongs or impose his personal policy beliefs into law, of thinking that Abortion might possibly be wrong, and (perhaps the most serious of all of the charges against him,) of being nominated to the position of Cheif Justice of the Supreme Court by George W. Bush.
The Judiciary Committee found him guilty as charged, by a vote of 12 to 5.
His fate is now in the hands of the full Senate.
If found guilty of these charges by the full Senate, he could be sentenced to serve time on the Supreme Court of the United States for the remainder of his natural life.
And may God have mercy on his soul.

"commodities relocation specialist". I just noticed that. I used to be a "material transportation technician" when I moved stuff, at the hospital.
Uh, I feel like the point all along was that we just didn't know very much about Roberts, and still don't. Furthermore, why Chief Justice for him, exactly? Why not move one of the sitting justices up?
I wondered about that myself, Bachelor...
I personally had hoped that the President would make Ruth Bader Ginsburg Cheif Justice, and nominate hard line conservative Justices to both open seats.
That way, she would choose which cases the Court would hear, and they would all go conservative.
But, I guess you can't have everything...
By the way, "Material Transportation Technician" works too.
I like that.
I guess the "Pilates diet" is where you eat things that you shouldn't, and then wash your hands afterwards??
Ba Dump CHING!!
Myself, I was a retail "petroleum distribution coordinator" back in the day.
Yep, that was me in the feed cap behind the fuel desk at a few spots along I-40 in eastern Oklahoma.
Tug, you ever take another long haul and find yerself passing the 321 mile marker, holler howdy to mama ER. :-) If it was late and quiet and she was up, she could hear yer tires a-screamin' down the highway.
On point: I saw where Robert Byrd, God love him, is gonna vote for yer man for SCOTUS.

Jesus loves you, Bruiser!
I am confused. One comment mentions "commodities relocation specialist" but I don't see what he is talking about.
Another comment says "Jesus Loves you, Bruiser", which usually is preceded by a nasty comment from Bruiser but in this case he is absent.
Of course, he posted a respecful comment on my blog today and that is out of character for him, too.
I think I must have crossed over into the Twilight Zone!

That means Tug has called the bouncer on Bruiser.
No complaints here.

Bruiser no longer has commenting priveleges here.
He contributes nothing but hatred, hostility, and negativity, so he gets deleted. Every time. From now on.

This test has got ME curious...
I am interested to know what you guys wrote as the law you would enact at the end of the test.
Show me yours, and I'll show you mine...
Well, I took it too. Turns out I am a little to the left of Tug. Considering I am a woman, that kinda fits. Anyway, here's my breakdown:

Maybe...only time will tell...
My law: That there be an economic bill of rights, not just civil rights. (In other words: the human right to food, shelter and health care written into law). Admittedly easy to to writer, not so easy to implement -- but what is?)
My heart bleeds shamelessly.

Sigh "easy to write down"
Mine was to outlaw all abortion regardless.
Holy Moley, you guys are extremists!!
Just kidding.
Mine was for all legislation passed by our Government be required to cite the specific wording contained in the Constitution which supports that legislation.
