Clinton Failed. (HIS Words. Not Mine.)

Bill Clinton did an interview with Fox News Sunday Today with Chris Wallace.

In it, he talked about how hard he tried to get Osama Bin Laden.

WALLACE: Do you think you did enough, sir?

CLINTON: No, because I didn’t get him.

WALLACE: Right.

CLINTON: But at least I tried. That’s the difference in me and some, including all the right-wingers who are attacking me now. They ridiculed me for trying. They had eight months to try. They did not try.
I tried.
So I tried and failed.
When I failed, I left a comprehensive anti-terror strategy and the best guy in the country, Dick Clarke, who got demoted.

Wow. Eight whole months. How long did Clinton have, again?

He tried and failed.

The only reason that Osama Bin Laden is still alive ( if he is alive), and the only reason that 9/11 occured is that Bill Clinton did not consider him a personal enemy.

Had Bin Laden ever worked as a Clinton Body Guard, or had helped to arrange cricket capers for him while he was Governor of Arkansas, then Bin Laden would have been dead by the end of the Clinton Presidency.
